Overview:

Calyx pursued a major brand overhaul that required a new website to highlight the updated messaging. The company tabbed SmartBug Media® to build a modern site that would incorporate inbound best practices and create a powerful user experience and brand identity.

Problem the company had:

Calyx’s website previous to its rebranding wasn’t user-friendly—navigation was unclear, pages were not optimized to inbound principles, and the design wasn’t visually dynamic.

The Hubspot Content Hub solution:

SmartBug began the redesign project with deep research, looking at buyer personas, behavioral data, UX and UI, site analytics, usability, and more. From there, we developed wireframes based on a site architecture and messaging that addressed Calyx’s core buyer pain points. The new website features a custom extended menu, a rich marketing narrative, and an integration of Calyx’s visual rebrand.

Results:

The redesigned, rebranded website was an immediate upgrade over the previous version. It delivers seamless mobile usability without any disruption to UX or UI, and submenus and anchor links illustrate Calyx’s interconnected solutions and ecosystem.
