The project used HubDB to provide details about company and partner hosted events over three pages. Detailed information about partner-hosted events were linked to off-site. Detailed information about company-hosted events were presented on an event detail page. Visitors were allowed to register for these events via an event registration page.
L&P needed to provide information about upcoming company and partner hosted events via the company’s site. It was also important to only provide detailed information for company-hosted events and to allow registration for these events on the site.
HubDB was used to store data about the event and related personnel. This data was queried and displayed across three dynamic pages. The overview page listed upcoming events as being company or partner hosted and grouped each event by series. The detail page provided a summary, agenda, number of occurrences and contact people for each company-hosted event. The registration page provided a registration form for visitors.
The solution was well-received by the company and is still in-use for all company and partner hosted events. Over 40 event series have been processed by this solution. There has been no downtime as the implementation continues to be stable.
