HumanGood, one of the largest nonprofit providers of senior housing and services, was formed after a merger of two organizations and required a website to reflect its vibrant new brand. SmartBug Media crafted the redesign, incorporating better navigation, a streamlined UX, and rich content to create an interactive, personal experience for site visitors.

Problem the company had:

HumanGood was created after American Baptist Homes of the West merged with another senior housing provider, be.group, in 2017. A new website needed to showcase the parent company as well as its dozens of unique senior living communities.

The Hubspot Content Hub solution:

SmartBug® delivered a comprehensive design that featured bright colors and crisp fonts, effectively changing the look and UX of the website. Through HubDB, we organized communities by state and living options, creating more than 500 webpages in the process. Also, we described the HumanGood experience with a pillar page that told the story of the two brands that became one, as well as created an interactive quiz to help families decide which type of senior living best suits their needs.

Results:

HumanGood’s new website is perfectly geared toward older adults and their families, helping guide them through what often is a difficult decision with outstanding content and a reassuring user experience.
