Overview:
HubSpot's annual conference, Inbound, invites professionals from all over the world to come together to learn, build, and educate. With INBOUND 2022 being a hybrid event for the first time, they wanted the site to allow both in-person and virtual guests to feel connected. Aptitude 8 leveraged their technical expertise to bring HubSpot’s vision to light. Using Serverless Functions, Aptitude 8 relied on data, integrations, and CSS to build a dynamic and interactive site, all on HubSpot Content Hub.
Problem the company had:
HubSpot’s annual conference, INBOUND, was entering its first year as a hybrid event. HubSpot needed an event site that catered to both in-person and virtual attendees, allowing all guests to have an exciting and immersive INBOUND experience.
The Hubspot Content Hub solution:
Aptitude 8 worked with HubSpot to build each page, utilizing integrations and CSS, adding enveloping animations and maintaining accessible design throughout. Inbound.com was designed to provide an experience where all attendees could feel a sense of community, like they were at the physical event. Aptitude 8 maintained website stability, while still providing dynamic content, by utilizing Airtable and HubDB, with a layer of JSON that updated based on the user to show their unique schedule.
Results:
As a result of the improvements that were made in design, user experience, backend operations, and functionality, INBOUND 2022 sold out way ahead of time. Guests had the opportunity to feel truly connected with each other, the speakers and content.
