Overview:

The site was developed with a modular concept in mind. We want to allow the greatest amount of flexibility and control over the site’s modules. Thus we created the site to allow marketers to easily manipulate backgrounds, colours, fonts and text sizes, content, CTA's, and links. In brief, anything they wanted to update, they could now do in a simple way and with a library of modules adapted to their needs.

Problem the company had:

Keeping in constant growth, the company needed to improve the experience of its editors when uploading content to its site, as well as the time invested in creating templates and pages. For this reason, this modular concept was proposed and offers a complete library of modules from headers and footers, to different styles of CTAs and Timelines.

The Hubspot CMS solution:

The site was built so it could become a personalized page builder, with specific modules for each type of content and a layout section in the proposed design. We used custom modules, grouping within each one the required functionalities. We created specific modules such as a custom header, where you can choose if you want a background with a slideshow, video embedded from YouTube, or an image from the gallery, as well as an overview module with cards placed on a slider or grill (free choice), a fully editable timeline, and a system of overview and details of your event schedule and reports, etc. The main purpose of this modular approach was to give the client a system of diverse modules they could freely leverage to create pages in a simple way. In total more than 80 modules were created, including 3 or 4 variations of each one, related to themes such as Orientation, design, and arrangement of the elements in the module. This gave them a wide range of choice when building out their site.

Results:

The global site has over 80 pages, the Oxfam Intermón team was able to create 40 by themselves. After the launch, Oxfam keeps creating new pages at their convenience.
