There is now an icon picker field within the new design manager that lets your content editors pick from a drop down list of Font Awesome v5 icons.

Why does it matter?

The goal of the new design manager is to enable CMS developers to create a simple and intuitive editing experience for content creators. In the old design manager, if you wanted to insert an icon within the page editor, there was no way to easily do so. With the addition of this field, a developer has even more control over the assets they create for marketers to use.

How does it work?

Within the field selector in the new design manager, you’ll now be able to pick the icon field to insert into a custom module.

For the content creator, they will be able to add Font Awesome icons to their pages or emails through a dropdown list.

Who gets it?

This field is now available within the new Design Manager.

What language is it in?

Custom modules are currently only available within English. The team is actively working on localizing these modules, and soon they will be available in all languages supported by HubSpot.
